"To be a student is a calling."

A professor of mine, on the last day of class, read significant portions of an article entitled "Go With God" by Stanley Hauerwas (originally published in First Things).  Particularly poignant sections appear below, some with my own commentary, some without.  I highly recommend reading the full article; it was inspiring and helped me to refocus and recontextualize my own studies.
